Cross Cultural Understanding

SOUTH AMERICAN LANGUAGE AND CULTURE

Hi, Are you interested and want to visit this part of South America but don't know which country is suitable? Come on, see about South America itself and the countries in it!

South America is a continent located between the Pacific Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean which is connected to North America via the Isthmus of Panama. This continent is crossed by the equator, and most of the continental plains are in the southern hemisphere. South America includes twelve sovereign states: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay and Venezuela; one territory in France: French Guiana and the dependence of a sovereign state.

The western part of South America consists of the Andes mountains from north to south, while the eastern part of the continent is a lowland which is mostly a basin of the Amazon river, with dense tropical forests.

Brazil is by far the most populous South American country, with more than half of the continent's population, followed by Colombia, Argentina, Venezuela and Peru. In recent decades, Brazil has also generated half of the continent's GDP and became the first regional power.

Do you know enough about Brazil? If I wrote earlier that Brazil is the most populous country in South America, what do you know after that? Brazil is the fifth country in the world by area and the sixth most populous. The capital is Brasília, and the most populous city is São Paulo. The federation is made up of a union of 26 states and the Federal District. It is the largest country in which Portuguese is the official language and the only one in America; it is also one of the most multicultural and ethnically diverse countries, due to more than a century of mass immigration from around the world; and a Roman Catholic state.

Brazil is classified as an upper-middle-income economy by the World Bank and a newly industrialized country, with the largest share of global wealth in Latin America. This is a developed developing economy. After we know in general, which country do you think has a unique culture of use? In a country with its own passion. If invited to a Brazilian home, follow Brazilian etiquette. Traditional guest etiquette is to bring flowers or a small gift to the host. Orchids are a great gift, but make sure you don't choose purple orchids. In fact, don't give anything in purple or black - these are the colors for mourning. Hopefully, this will be your knowledge while on vacation to Brazil!

Then there's Peru! Peru is a country in western South America, bordered by Ecuador and Colombia to the north, Brazil to the east, Bolivia to the east, southeast and south, Chile to the south, and the Pacific Ocean to the west. Peru is a country rich in anthropological culture and is known as the birthplace of the Inca Kingdom with its capital at Machu Picchu.

Peru is home to a variety of pre-Inca cultures and later, the Inca Empire. Francisco Pizarro landed on the Peruvian coast in 1532, and in the late 1530s Peru became Virreinato and the main source of gold and silver for the Kingdom of Spain.

If you go to Peru and see Takanakuy don't panic too much. In Peru there is a festival called Takanakuy. In this festival, local residents will fight empty-handed with fellow local residents. Both men, children, old people, and even women take part in this festival.

Come on, who want a vacation to Peru too!😍👍👐
