Learning The First Language at Home and at School

Gambar
Every human being has the same potential to master language. The process and nature of each person's language acquisition take place dynamically and through tiered stages. In this regard, two terms are known, namely language acquisition and language learning. The acquisition of the first language occurs when the child who was original without a language has now acquired one language. During the acquisition of children's language, children are more focused on the function of communication than the form of language.      We all know that the acquisition of a first language is also closely related to the social development of children and therefore also closely related to the formation of social identity. Learning the first language is one way of tracing the overall process of a child's development to become a full member of a society. Through language, children can easily express their ideas and desires in a way that is truly socially acceptable. ...

Teaching English to Young Learners “Learning & Development”

Gambar
Learning and Development are to build connections between organizational needs and individual needs to boost Performance. It’s an integral part of an organization’s operation.   Development and learning are dynamic processes that reflect the complex interactions between a child's biological characteristics and the environment, each shaping the other's growth patterns and futures. Advances in neuroscience over the past two decades have provided new insights into the process of early brain development and its long-term implications for development and learning. These findings provide strong evidence supporting the importance of high-quality early learning experiences for children to promote children's lifelong success. The process of forming new neural connections and pruning unused neural connections continues throughout a person...

Experience teaching young language learners

Gambar
Teaching English to young learners is not merely a matter of setting them loose on a plethora of authentic language tasks in the classroom. To successfully teach young learners a second or foreign language requires specific skills and intuitions that differ from those appropriate for adult teaching.  Hi, today I will tell you about my experience teaching young students. At that time I was in the 2nd semester if it was seen that I was still unable to teach but there was a mandatory activity of one of the courses for the examination value. we were divided into several groups and different elementary schools, I happened to find them near the camps, namely sd 06. at that time I was teaching grade 1 sd. wherein fact grade 1 is not yet fluent in reading or anything else, even the previous teacher I saw was very patient in teaching them. In the past I taught citizenship where the children were studying, we taught very carefully, and to inspire them, I and my friend used snacks as gifts. t...

MALE-FEMALE RELATIONSHIP

Gambar
People‘s ideas about appropriate behavior for men and  women are deeply held and having been planted within them  from a very early age. People tend to believe strongly that their  own ideas on the subject are correct and other ideas are wrong or  somehow inferior. People‘s ideas about what is proper in male female relationships do not change easily.  Foreign visitors usually find that American pattern in the male-female relationships are different from the ones to which  they are accustomed. If they become involved with members of  the opposite sex, as lovers or friends, they are likely to have strong,  negative reactions. At the very least, they will be confused and  unsettled.  Besides this strongly-held idea about what is and is not  acceptable, there is another obstacle in understanding the men-female  relationships namely stereotype. People‘s stereotypes about gender  might become a great barrier in understan...

Within this ideology, individuals will judge other groupsin relation to their own particular ethnic group or culture, especially with concern to language, behavior, customs, and religion.
